on the first sip, it came across as umami-forward and creamy with no bitterness. i did notice a little bit of astringency at first, but it wasn't too strong, after adding a little more milk and a touch of agave, the astringency faded off and the whole cup became much more balanced. the added sweetness really helped bring out its creamy and umami character, while the milk softened the slight astringency. the texture is creamy, with a pleasant umami finish that doesn't turn bitter or overly drying. i also really love the aroma of this matcha, it smells very creamy and inviting, which makes the whole experience even better. and of course, the color is such a beautiful, vibrant green that makes it look just as good as it tastes.
